Maritza is a certified executive coach with a passion for helping people master the art of successfully leading themselves and leading others. She coaches managers and executives who want to optimize their leadership performance and personal effectiveness during key transitions, such as changes in their role, team, organization, company or career. Through her signature coaching approach, Maritza empowers her clients to get in touch with their purpose, create a powerful vision, make desired mindset shifts, and adopt the strategies and habits to reach their goals.
Maritza believes that leadership success should not come at the expense of personal wellbeing. Having lived through many difficult transitions inspired her to be an uplifting and practical coach to help leaders face tough changes with resilience, confidence and joy. Along with the business outcomes, her approach provides the space for clients to achieve personal stability and enjoyment, preparing them to create sustainable leadership impact.
Before becoming a coach, Maritza held key managerial roles at four Fortune 500 companies for over twenty-five years, developing managers, managing teams and leading breakthrough initiatives to inform a culture of diversity and inclusion among corporate leaders. Having worked with executives from over 20 countries in 5 continents, and lived in three different cultures, provides Maritza a unique level of multicultural empathy and effectiveness.
Maritza holds coaching certifications in neuroscience coaching, innovation coaching, systemic team coaching and action reflection learning. She is an active member of the International Coaching Federation and is credentialed by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
